Microsoft DW Solutions:  Project Madison & SQL Server Fast Track Data Warehouse
Presenter: Roger Moore, DW Solution Specialist, Microsoft Corp.
Join MSBIC as we welcome Roger Moore, Microsoft Data Warehouse Solution Specialist, for an overview of Microsoft's multiple approaches to data warehousing solutions and strategies including 'Project Madison' and its newest SQL offering:  SQL Server Fast Track Data Warehouse

With the recent DATAllegro acquisition (Sep 2008), Microsoft takes data warehousing to the next level by adding Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) development - Project Madison - and an updated Reference Architecture platform to the SQL Server Fast Track Data Warehouse product offering.

SQL Server Fast Track Data Warehouse is ideal for 1 to 20 terabyte data warehouses and data marts  featuring appliance like Symmetrical Multi-processing (SMP) architecture that optimizes the balance between processing power, I/O and storage, and Project Madison to meet data warehouse workloads of tens and hundreds of terabytes into petabytes.
